Blues, Chicago Blues and Country
Tim bought his first harmonica in 1967 after hearing the Yard-birds doing the blues classic, “I’m A Man.” He has played harp and guitar with numerous bands in California and Hawaii, as well as working in commercials, movies and comedy. He has supported dozens of legendary blues and rock acts, such as Charlie Musselwhite, Roy Buchanan, Norton Buffalo, Taj Mahal, Canned Heat, David Bromberg, Richie Havens, and blew harp with Bo Diddley.
Tim teaches beginners and intermediate players. Students need not read music. Students will learn intros, turnaraounds, blues progressions and classic riffs, as well as explore country and Chicago harp styles.
